Delay in accountability leading anarchy: Baloch

Lahore—Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch said that the political leadership was pushing the country towards anarchy by delaying the process of accountability.
Speaking at an Iftar party on Sunday , he said that if an autonomous judicial commission for indiscriminate accountability of the corrupt was not constituted soon, there would be people’s commissions on roads and crossings for the recovery of the plundered wealth from the corrupt.
Liaqat Baloch said that elimination of child labour was the responsibility of the state. He said that the federation and the provincial governments should not be content with observing Days and framing new laws, but should take practical steps to solve the problems of the masses in the fields of education, health and employment. He said it was the responsibility of the state to know the factors which forced the parents to ruin the future of their children by deputing them to do odd jobs only to supplement family income, and try to remove these factors.
Meanwhile, Deputy chief of the Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, has said that killing an innocent person was a major sin and the murderer was liable to face eternal punishment in hell.
Addressing the worshippers at the Mansoora mosque, he said that under the Shariah, nobody had the right to take up arms and kill someone. He said it was divine decree that whoever killed a single individual unlawfully, killed the entire humanity. He said that if the law of Qisas was applicable on someone, the culprit was liable to be punished only by a court under the law on the basis of clear evidence. However, he said that if the rulers started killing the people, the world would become hell.
Hafiz Muhammad Idrees said that at present, the blood of the Muslims was being shed all over the world. The main reason was that the Muslim rulers had revolted against Islam and become slaves of the US. He deplored that death was so widespread in Syria, Bangladesh, Palestine, Egypt, Kashmir and Gaza.
He said that the Muslim world needed an honest and courageous leadership that could resolve all problem of the Ummah.—SABAH
