Deadly bowling by Akbar leads North Shire to victory in Super Cup

Karachi—The unbeatable bowling helped North Shire Cricket club to beat Shamil Cricket Club by 29 runs in 2nd match of Nazimbad Super Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament at KCCA Stadium.
Batting first, North Shire Cricket Club scored 145 runs for loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.
Muhammad Akhlaq blasted 51 runs in 41 deliveries with the help of 2 fours and two sixes and Fazal Subhan also showed excellent performance in batting by contributing 31 runs with 2 fours and one six.
Off-Break Muhammad Ilyas captured 3 wickets for 21 runs and Haris Ayaz and Rashid Hanif took 2 wickets for 31 and 18 runs respectively.
Chasing, Shamil Cricket Club could not face deadly bowling by rival opponent and collapsed with 145 runs with loss of 8 wickets in 18.4 overs.
Tayyab Riaz hardly made the score of 48 with one four and 2 sixes and Ram Ravi ended with 22 runs.
Right-arm leg spinner, Akbar-u-Rehman grabbed 5 wickets for 21 runs and Usman Khalid 2 wickets for 28 runs.
