DC warns of action against ghost teachers, facilitators


Calling for expediting implementation on educational reforms, the deputy commissioner Sanghar Umer Farooq Bullo has directed to take stern action against ghost teachers and officers facilitating them. Presiding over a meeting to review progress on educational reforms here Thursday, the DC stated that education was fundamental right of every citizen and it was core duty of all concerned officials to ensure that facilities being provided by the government must benefit the children.
He regretted that despite of more facilities public sector schools were lagging behind private educational institutions in terms of quality of education. He urged officers of education department to impart education to children on modern lines to make them productive part of the society.—APP
