Danish envoy calls on Governor


Karachi—The Danish investment in energy and agriculture sectors in the country including the province of Sindh augurs well.
This was stated by the Governor of Sindh, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan here on Monday.
He was talking to the Ambassador of Denmark, Ole Thanke, who called on him here at the Governor House.
The Governor said that with the Pak-Danish investment, the bilateral ties between the two countries would be further strengthened.
He pointed out that the current volume of Pak-Danish bilateral trade is 425 million dollars which needs to be enhanced further.
Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan said that with foreign investment, job opportunities would increase that is important in facing the challenge of terrorism.
He pointed out that with operation Zarb-i-Azb, there has been peace and that this operation would continue till the full restoration of peace.
The Governor said that with restoration of peace, the growing interest of foreign investors augurs well.
The Danish Envoy said on the occasion that investors of Denmark are taking full interest in investment in energy and textile sectors in Pakistan including the province of Sindh.
