ISLAMABAD – Pakistani weddings season continues in full swing and a recent event from Mandi Bahauddin has everyone’s attention with family members showering millions from a small jet.
The unique and extravagant event happened in outskirts of Mandi Bahauddin where people witnessed fanatical scenes as Local currency notes rained down from the sky. The wedding took place in village of Chak 45, where the groom’s overseas Pakistani friends hosted a lavish display by showering flower petals from an airplane along with millions of rupees.
Several clips of the event quickly went viral on social media, showing rupees fluttering through the air as guests ran to collect them. The joyous scene saw people climbing onto rooftops and rushing through the streets to gather the notes.
In addition to the currency, wedding congratulatory pamphlets were also dropped from the airplane, adding to the festivity.
The stunning display left the villagers in awe, and the video spread widely, sparking discussions and excitement across social media platforms.
This is not first such incident as people even showered mobile phones and other gifts on guests to make their big day special.
