CTPL starts ‘Trained Drivers Safe Roads Programme’

Chief Traffic Officer Lahore SSP Rai Ijaz Ahmad has said that city traffic police have started “Trained Drivers Safe Roads Programme” for safe journey. More than 300 drivers have been trained in first phase.
Four other driving schools will be established with the help of TEVTA in the city. Several citizens would be able to get jobs after getting profession training through these driving schools.
The SSP expressed these views while holding meeting with chairman TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh.
The SSP said the city traffic police had only one driving school and now four more driving schools would be set up. A board comprising representatives of different commercial companies would be constituted which would conduct test of drivers and distribute certificates.
