CTP launches awareness campaign to educate road users

Rawalpindi

City Traffic Police (CTP) Thursday launched an awareness campaign among road users for observing traffic rules and road safety. The campaign was launched on special directives of Regional Police Officer Fayyaz Dev who directed the Chief Traffic Officer Muhammad Bin Ashraf to organize lecture and exhibit banners about traffic rules in the city.
The pamphlets were distributed among road users at Murree Road, Airport Road, Mall Road, Peshawar Road and adjacent roads.
The CTO said the campaign would continue to educate road users for road safety. He urged motorcyclists to use helmet for their own safety. He appealed to the parents to keep eye on their children and should discourage this activity.—APP
