City Traffic Police Lahore impounded 698 vehicles and issued 2907 challan tickets during the ongoing campaign against underage drivers in the provincial capital.
According to CTP spokesman, impounded vehicles will be released on surety bonds by parents for not giving vehicles in future.
Data of impounded vehicles is being computerized. On second time violation, action would be take against their parents. Whereas city traffic police have also taken action against 3727 smoky vehicles, 10990 improper number plates and 742 without number plates.
