CS for streamlining construction of Rs4.7b Sindh Secretariat Complex

Karachi—Sindh Chief Secretary (CS) Muhammad Siddique Memon has emphasized upon streamlining the construction process of Sindh Secretariat Complex that includes the building No. 7 & 8 adjacent to Shahrahe Liaquat and Masjid-e-Khizra being construct at the estimated cost of Rs4.7 billion. Presiding over a meeting here on Monday in this connection, Siddique Memon categorically noted that specific time plan, over all work plan and monitoring system must be undertaken for smooth construction should be materialized in all respect, as well, he added, that monthly report be strictly communicated to his (CS) office. He advised the Secretary General Administration to ensure expeditious completion of the Sindh Secretariat.
It may be mentioned that eight (08) departments viz; Agriculture, Irrigation, Food, Forest, Wildlife, Fisheries, Tax Management and Zakat & Ushr are linked with the under construction Sindh Secretariat Complex.
The meeting was attended by ACS (P&D), Chairman Anti Corruption, SMBR, Secretaries of Works & Services, Finance and Implementation, while Secretary G.A was also present—INP
