Country’s economy improving rapidly due to active policies of Govt: Barjees

Ex- Governor Giligat Baltaststan Chaudhry Barjees Tahir said that present government has introduce prudent policies and due to positive policies of the government, national economy was improving day by day. While talking to media at residence of ex-Chief Officer District Council Hafizabad Malik Muhammad Manshah, he said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was a game changer project which would change fate of the region.

He said that present government was giving very importance to CPEC and committed to complete this project on stipulated period. He said that foreign reserves of Pakistan was improved significantly and in 1999, Pakistan had addition electricity and was negotiating with neighbor country for importing electricity. After 1999, no any government did not give attention to increase electricity production as a result of which, we are facing shortage of electricity, he claimed.

On the other hand caretaker Provincial Minister for Education Punjab Mansoor Qadir said that on the directions of the Care Taker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, all provincial ministers are visiting different district for addressing problems of people and providing maximum relief to masses as well as improving performance of government departments. He expressed these views while addressing a meeting of district heads of departments at district complex, on Friday.

Deputy Commissioner Umer Farooq Warraich, DPO Dr. Fahad Ahmad, ADCR Imtiaz Ahmad Baig and other officers attended the meeting. Mansoor Qadir inspected under construction DHQ hospital, University of Hafizabad and Kot Sarwar Motorway Interchange to Gujranwala Road being completed more than 26 billion of rupees. He said that provision of educational, healthcare, communicational and other facilities was top promote priority of the government. He also visited DHQ hospital and reviewed treatment facilities in children ward, emergency, general ward, CCU and ICU.
