Country witnessing marked improvement in health, energy and economy: Tariq

Islamabad—Significant improvement can be witnessed in law and order, health, energy, and economy due to sincere efforts and solid initiatives taken by PML-N government. Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD), Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary on Saturday expressed these views while addressing annual convocation ceremony of Islamabad Medical and Dental College (IM&DC) as chief guest here at Jinnah Convention Centre.
Unfortunately a large number of children, the Minister said, were out of school due to poverty and lack of resources.
He said the government Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was taking serious steps to tackle challenges being faced by the nation. The minister said Pakistan was an over-populated country, having less resources to meet the needs of people.
He congratulated the students, their parents, faculty and college management on occasion of annual convocation on this success and said it was a good opportunity for the youth to serve the humanity, nation and county, particularly the downtrodden.
Tariq Fazal said the government was fully aware of the problems in health sector and working to provide extensive healthcare facilities to masses.
He said IM&DC was one amongst the hospitals that were well equipped and having trained and professional faculty staff in federal capital.
Earlier, the minister distributed degrees amongst the MBBS and BDS graduates of the sessions of 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Rector Bahria University Vice Admiral (Reted) Tanveer Fair HI (M), Chairman IM&DC Dr. Ghulam Akbar Khan Niazi, Principal IM&DC Prof. Dr. Khalid Hassan and Principal Dental Section Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Khurram also addressed the participants.
It may be mention that 186 MBBS graduates of IM&DC’s sessions 2010-11 and 93 graduates in BDS 2011-12 sessions received their degrees on the occasion.
