Country put on road to progress: Shahbaz

Lahore—Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government has put the country on the road to progress and prosperity during the last three years and the results of its efforts are being witnessed in the form of improvement of all sectors of life. He said that new records of public service will be set during next two years. He said that national economy and law and order situation has improved under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and international institutions are also acknowledging this fact.
He was talking to assembly members who met him, here today. The Chief Minister that the goal of a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan will be achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He said that various projects are being completed expeditiously for resolving energy crisis. He said that several power projects will be completed by the end of 2017 and thousands of megawatts electricity will be available. The Chief Minister said that people have rejected purposeless protests and the elements involved in such activities should not waste precious time of the nation. The Chief Minister directed assembly members to maintain a close contact with the people for the solution of their problems. Those who met the Chief Minister included Members National Assembly Sahibzada Muhammad Nazir Sultan, Rana Shamim Ahmed and Begum Ghulam Bibi Bharwana. Mansha Ullah Butt MPA was also present on the occasion. Meanwhile, former Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhawa and a senior leader of PML-N Sardar Mehtab Khan Abbasi also met Shehbaz Sharif. The Chief Minister while speaking on the occasion said that people are annoyed with protest politics. He said that those creating anarchy in the country have no interest in solution of people’s problems. He said that the elements leveling baseless allegations have always been rejected by the masses. He said that government led by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is implementing the agenda of progress and prosperity and people are fully benefitting from completion of development projects.
