Peshawar—A traffic constable was shot dead in an apparent incident of target killing in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
Sher Ali was shot dead in Bashirabad area when he was on his way home after completing duty hours, SP Cantt Kashif Zulfiqar told newsmen.
The assailants fired at Ali as soon as he reached the said area and went to a nearby shop, Zulfiqar added.
The constable worked as a driver in traffic police, added the SP. Earlier on June 19, gunmen killed a police constable in Garhi Sobat Khan area of Peshawar.
