Construction of ‘Pakistan gate’ at Iran border in final stage

Islamabad—The construction of ‘Pakistan gate’ at Iran border in Taftan has entered into final stage as only two months are required for its completion.
The total cost of the gate has been recorded as Rs 2 crore that is being borne by customs department while Frontier Corps in Balochistan Taftan Rifles is monitoring the whole construction process.
Commandant Col Kashif Ijaz talking to Private news channel said that the gates would help in checking the transportation activities at the border.
The first ever gate constructed at the Taftan border by Pakistan Customs will not only serve to improve the country’s image towards the visitors coming from Iran but will also be used to improve the security measures along with providing facilities to travelers heading to Iran.—APP
