Lahore—Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that programme of construction of more than ten thousand additional classrooms has been evolved under “Khadim-e-Punjab Schools Programme” which will be started from southern Punjab and implemented in phases. He said that due to this programme, boy and girl students will avail better educational facilities and will be motivated towards their studies due to best educational environment.
He was presiding over a high level meeting regarding “Khadim-e-Punjab Schools Programme”, here Thursday. The meeting reviewed progress of the programme and gave formal approval to the design of additional classrooms. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that future of the country is linked with best education and training of the youth and equipping them with modern knowledge.
He said that Punjab government is implementing a comprehensive programme for the improvement of educational programme in the province. He said that “Khadim-e-Punjab Schools Programme” is a splendid example of spending resources of the nation on the youth of the country.
