Computer lab inaugurated at Qasba Colony

Sindh Minister for Minorities Affairs, Social Welfare and Prisons Hari Ram Kishori Lal on Fridayinaugurated a computer lab for imparting free quality vocational training to under-privileged children at Qasba Colony.
The computer lab was set up with the assistance of Karsaz Education & Welfare Organization at Chattari building in the office of Assistant Director of Social Welfare, Orangi Town, Karachi.
Secretary, Social Welfare, Taha Ahmed Farouqui, Additional Secretary Essa Memon, Director General of Social Welfare Sheema Arif, President of Kewo Raihan Rasool, Vice President Kewo Muhammad Jafar Khan, officers and officials of social welfare departments also attended inauguration ceremony.
Addressing the ceremony, Hari Ram Kishori Lal said that Qasba Colony seen worst law and order situation in past. He added: :We have to join hands to rebuild our institutes and society as situation of law & order was improved considerably so as to provide quality service delivery to masses at their door steps.”
He said that he was informed that the building gave deserted look two years back but today turned into impressive vocational training institute with the cooperation of Karsaz Education & Welfare Organization. The minister appreciated the spirit of Raihan Rasool President Kewo and invited him to collaborate for setting up such vocational centers in other underprivileged areas of province.Secretary, Social Welfare, Taha Ahmed Farouqui, Additional Secretary Essa Memon, Director General of Social Welfare Sheema Arif, President of Kewo Raihan Rasool, Vice President Kewo Muhammad Jafar Khan, officers and officials of social welfare departments also attended inauguration ceremony.
