Committee to review hospitals matters

Peshawar—Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak constituted a committee to review matters of major health institutes and further extend their infrastructure in the province and immediate implementation of policy of ‘Institute Base Practice’ already constituted for the doctors.
The committee comprising Secretary Health, Secretary Finance and head of Strategic Support Unit which would present its recommendations to this effect. He was presiding over a meeting convened to discuss issues related to Medical Teaching Institutes (MTI) here at Chief Minister House Wednesday.
The Chief Minister said that the government introduced health reforms in the province under which autonomy has been given to the major hospitals, the salary package of doctors increased and a large number of health employees upgraded.—APP
