A meeting of Divisional Anti-Corruption Establishment Larkana Wednesday discussed cases against Revenue, Education, Police, Agriculture Extension, Highways, Director College, TMAs, Zakaat & Ushr, Food and other departments. Serious misappropriations were found in Police, Revenue and Education departments.
The Commissioner Larkana Division Ghulam Abass Baloch chaired the meeting and was attended among others by Deputy Director Anti-Corruption Eatablishment (ACE) Larkana Division Imran Ali and officers of various departments.
On the occasion, Commissioner Larkana directed the officials of Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) to gear up their efforts and after completing the legal formalities, arrest the accused persons without any delay and FIRs may be lodged against such guilty persons at-once.
He also said that any corrupt government employee shall not be forgiven no matter how influential he may be. The anti-corruption committee of the district has decided to register cases and initiate departmental action against the officials of various departments including Revenue, Education, Police, Agriculture Extension, Highways, Director College, TMAs, Zakaat & Ushr, Food and other departments on the charges of corruption.
Some 93 cases were brought under consideration out of which 44 were found liable to register five cases against each and to arrest them. Deputy Director Anti-Corruption Establishment Imran Ali said that the approval was given by the Committee to register cases against the 44 corrupt officials.—APP
