Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, isolated rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is likely in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.
Foggy conditions are likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Tuesday morning: Islamabad and Peshawar ten degree centigrade, Lahore twelve, Karachi twenty, Quetta minus one, Gilgit six, Murree two and Muzaffarabad seven degree centigrade.
Meanwhile, the Multanl Met office has forecast cold and dry weather with chances of fog in the morning in city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.
On Monday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 20.3 degree centigrade and 5.3 degree centigrade, respectively.—APP
