Armed force fully capable of meeting any adventurism
Peshawar—Reiterating the firm resolve that any adventurism against Pakistan will be given a befitting response, the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif Thursday called upon the international community to strongly condemn the distortion of facts by India regarding held Kashmir and the Line of Control (LoC).

“We have recently witnessed an unfortunate display of utter desperation played out inside occupied Kashmir and along the Line of Control through a litany of falsehood and distortion of facts by India. Hence we expect the international community to condemn Indian insinuations and fabrications about a nation that has made unparalleled contributions to the global fight against terrorism”.
The Army Chief was addressing the passing-out parade of PAF cadets in Risalpur.
He apprehended that Pakistan’s enemies would now attempt to accelerate their efforts to reverse our gains and derail our progress through direct and indirect strategy. “Their nefarious designs will not be allowed to succeed at any cost. Resolute efforts to consolidate our gains is the only way forward for which we will not leave any stone unturned,” he expressed the determination.
He said Pakistan was a responsible and peace –loving country and remains committed to the policy of friendship with all other countries based on equality and mutual respect yet any aggression born out of deliberate intent or even a strategic miscalculation will not be allowed to go unpunished and will be met with a befitting response. General Raheel Sharif while referring to the internal front said Operation Zarb-e-Azb with full support from Pakistan Air Force has rooted out terrorist infrastructure and also defeated the residual terrorist elements in the form of facilitators thereby successfully turning the tide against terrorism.
Lauding the role of PAF in the Operation Zarb-e-Azb the Army Chief said Pakistan Air Force is the best fighter force in the world and has played a commendable role in Operation Zarb-e-Azb. “Pakistan Armed Forces are among the best and most distinguished forces in the world and capable of facing up to any kind of challenge. They are fully prepared to give the “most befitting response” to any internal or external threats directed at the country”.
The Army Chief declared in a categorical tone. General Raheel greeted the graduates and extended his solicitations to the audience. The Army Chief also inspected the parade. GD pilots and cadets of various other courses were among the pass outs.
PAF Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman and other high officials of all three Armed Forces were present on the occasion.
