Co-education is a type of education where males and females study in the same schools, colleges and universities. This is a modern concept and it has remarkably made rapid progress in incrementing the ratio of literacy rate. First, it was introduced in Switzerland and then extended almost in all parts of Europe and America and also in other parts of the world, including Asia.
In our country, there are diverse opinions on issue of co-education in colleges and universities. However, it creates competitive environments, and is also a necessary part of education and for the betterment of students
