Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah Thursday wished the Hindi community happy Diwali, being celebrated on Thursday.
According to a statement issued here, the chief minister said that he was proud of the services of Hindi community for the development of the country, revival of democracy and strengthening of economy.
He said that on this red-letter day they were along with the Hindu community.
He further said that Sindh government would ensure protection of rights of minorities including Hindus.
Murad said that the provincial government had already made minorities part of the government and other administrative departments and resolving their issues on priority basis.
