Christians seek world role for solution of Kashmir issue

Lahore—Christian community on Saturday organised a demonstration in front of the Lahore Press Club to seek role of the world community for solution to the Kashmir issue.
Kashmir is bleeding and modern world cannot ignore it, the speakers said addressing on the occasion.
The demonstrators were carrying banners and posters demanding the international community immediately intervene and stop Indian atrocities against innocent people of the held valley.
They were also raising slogans against the Modi government in India for unleashing a new wave of terror against Kashmiri women, children and men. The Christian community leaders including Khalid Shehzad, Chaudhry Anwar, Pastor Javed Kundan, Padri Amjad Niamat and Padri Yaqoob Anjum addressing on the occasion said that Pakistani nation including minorities are fully united and supportive of the legitimate struggle of people of Kashmir. They said that human Rights violations by Indian forces in Jammu Kashmir have become a routine.
They demanded the United Nations to play role in removing illegal occupation of Indian army over Kashmir. The demand of Kashmiris for right to plebiscite is legitimate and the whole world should actively play role in this regard, they said.
