A delegation of Chinese Medical University headed by Prof. Wen De-Liangalong with the others members Miss Lee, Dr. Wang Win visited the King Edward Medical University on Thursday and explore the possibility of cooperation between the two institutes.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interests like research and training courses were discussed at length. The Chinese medical specialists appreciated the 158 years services of KEMU.
The vice-chancellor of KEMU highlighted the ongoing projects of the University and expressed that all projects will be timely completed. he said that research of the University is of international standard. The aim of collaboration among the medical institutes is to augment the standard of research and training in the region.
Collaboration about KEMU new campus at Muredeki was also deliberated and it was decided that such meetings will be held on regular basis and mutual cooperation will be enhanced. The MOUs about the cooperation in research and training courses will be signed after approval of the Academic Council and the Syndicate and both institutes will work in a strong liaison.
On this occasion the Registrar of KEMU Prof. Irshad Hussain Qureshi, Deans Prof. Asad Aslam Khan, Prof. Saira Afzal and Professor Athar Javed were also present.
