Cheating promotes illiteracy

Shomaila Abbasi

Cheating is very common in Pakistan, which is destroying most of the students’ lives. I myself was a student of social work department in Karachi University. While I was taking the test in my class students were cheating openly using hand books, mobiles, notes and other cheating materials without any fear. Cheating is making the students unable to read and write. It is very disappointing to know that in Karachi University cheating culture is so rampant. Govt has failed to eradicate cheating culture. I request concerned authorities to prevent cheating culture in Pakistan, which in my opinion is promoting illiteracy in Pakistan.
