Karachi—Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Information and Archives, Moula Bux Chandio on Wednesday criticised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for silence over the Indian atrocities, killing of Kashmiris, and arresting its leaders indiscriminately.
“In Kashmir, around 30 people have been killed and over 1,400 more have been injured by Indian forces in the last five days after Friday night’s killing of 22-year-old Kashmiri leader Burhan Wani. Kashmiri leaders Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik have been kept under house arrest.
India is once again out to commit atrocities on Kashmiri leaders, which will not be tolerated,” the advisor said in a statement. He said: “It is matter of great concern that the US has shown concern over Indian atrocities but our Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is keeping quite over the issue. Chandio demanded investigation into extrajudicial killings of Burhan Wani and Kashmiri people.
