Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz Hussain has pledged to bear the entire cost of young Kausar’s treatment. Kausar is a 6/7 years old girl from Rawalpindi who has a deformed gait. Continuous weight loss and limp alarmed the lower middleclass parents who got their daughter examined by doctors just to realize that the defect, which if left untreated would lead to paralysis, is curable but they cannot bear the cost of her treatment.
On a report of local private news channel, Malik Riaz Hussain, Chairman Bahria Town immediately rose to the occasion and directed his medical team to visit Kausar and examine her at her home. Consequently, a team of specialists from Bahria Town International Hospital visited Kausar’s home for the examination.Initial diagnosis has indicated Thoracic Sclerosis which will be confirmed by further tests at the Bahria Town International Hospital, where Malik Riaz Hussain will bear the entire cost of this expensive treatment.
The announcement followed by the visit of the medical team to Kausar’s home, brought tears to the eyes of her parents who could not afford the treatment of their daughter. They thanked Malik Riaz Hussain and the team of doctors who visited their daughter on former’s special instructions.
Malik Riaz Hussain, the chairman of Asia’s largest real estate developer group Bahria Town, is also a philanthropist who helps individuals and communities in need. Recently, Malik Riaz Hussain has supported legendary actor Majid Jahangir by giving him home and free treatment.
