Cat rescued from 110-feet dry well after a year

Karachi—K-Electric in collaboration with Pakistan Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and Edhi Animal Welfare carried out an operation to rescue the cat stuck in a 110-feet deep well for a year in Kathor Thursday.
The K-Electric’s employee Sikander Baloch descended to the bottom of the dry well with the help of a crane to rescue the cat. In a message posted on Twitter, the K-Electric said the cat has been guided into the cage.
It said the cat is in good health and it would be handed over to PAWS for further treatment. Meanwhile, PAWS appreciated the efforts of K-Electric and Edhi Animal Shelter team in rescuing the trapped cat.
