Captain Misbah joins Pakistan team in Australia

Hamilton—Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq rejoined the Pakistan cricket team in Australia ahead of the three-match Test series starting from December 15.
Misbah had to cut short his New Zealand tour last month and return to Pakistan following the news of the death of his father-in-law. In his absence vice captain Azhar Ali had led the team in the second Test at Hamilton.
Upon joining the team the skipper took part in a three-hour training session with his teammates.
Pakistan team began training from today (Monday) ahead of their three-day warm-up match against Cricket Australia XI starting from Thursday in Cairns.
The first Test between Pakistan and Australia is from Dec 15-19 at The Gabba in Brisbane. The second Test will start at the MCG from Dec 26 and the third Test at the SCG from Jan 3.—Agencies
