Capital Hospital performing upto mark for welfare of CDA employees: Yasir Peerzada


ISLAMABAD : Member Administration Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Yasir Peerzada has said that the CDA Hospital provided it services to 78,569 patients in the month of October 2017.

He expressed these views while chairing a monthly review meeting of Capital Hospital here on Saturday and other senior officers of the Authority were also present. The meeting reviewed the October performance of the Capital Hospital.

Muhammad Yasir Peerzada said that the CDA Hospital is performing upto the mark for welfare of CDA employees. Keeping in view the significance of CDA hospital in keeping employees of the Authority healthy more actions are underway to bolster its services. Induction of new staff for the hospital is under process. He said that construction of new block for expansion of CDA hospital has also been approved. Hospital staff therefore should work more compassionately and efficiently for welfare of CDA employees.

On the occasion Member Administration, CDA was apprised that CDA Hospital has treated 78,569 patients during the month of October, 2017. This number includes both CDA employees as well as outdoor patients. He was informed that 37,503 outdoor patients were provided treatment at CDA hospital during the month of October in addition to the 768 in door ward admissions. Furthermore, 35,585 pathology laboratory examinations, 234 operation theater procedures, 2,084 general radiology and 320 imaging radiology, 674 provided physiotherapies, 1040 ECGs / ECHO / ETT, 228 Dialysis and 72 platelets rich plasma therapy  patients were also treated during the month of October, 2017.

Moreover, 53 babies were born at the Capital Hospital during the month of October. Similarly 08 patients expired at the Capital Hospital during this duration.
