CADD takes initiatives to ensure health of Montessori students

Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) under Prime Minister Education Reforms Programme (PMERP) has taken special initiatives to ensure the health and well being of all Montessori students of the public sector schools of federal capital.
The students of montessori classes would be provided free lunch boxes, along with milk and biscuits, Parliamentary Secretary for CADD, Maiza Hameed on Thursday said.
In an exclusive talk with APP, she said that besides nutritious education programme of CADD, all children will get free visual and hearing medical checkup to ensure their proper hearing and eyesight.
She said the children of montessori classes would also be given free treatment in the schools if necessary.
The Prime Minister Education Reforms Programme has been launched successfully in the public sector schools of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), with an aim to improve physical and educational structure of the institutions at par with private sector schools, she added.
The education reforms programme will change the fate of capital schools, she said adding the institutions were now showing positive results.
It is merits mentioned here that under the education reforms programme around 423 schools and colleges of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) were being upgraded with modern facilities including structure, new rooms, wash rooms, IT Labs, recruitment and training of teachers and many other facilities.—APP
