BZU declares BA/BSc result

Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Wednesday declared the result of BA/BSc annual examination 2018. According to gazette notification, a total of 49,433 candidates appeared in the BA, BSc exam, out of whom 18,158 student got through the examination while total pass percentage was computed as 36.73 per cent.
In BA/BSc result all first three positions were clinched by female students. In Bachelor of Arts (BA), Shehrbano Shaukat roll no 3470 of Government College for Women Mirah Layyah bagged first position by securing 629 marks while Hafsa Akbar (roll no 3773 ) of Govt College for Women Chowk Sarwar Shaheed stood second by obtaining 623 marks and Ayesha Siddiqa (roll no 1061) of a private college clinched third position by getting 620 marks.
Maria Jamil (roll no 3965) of Govt college for Women Shehr Sultan, whose father is a motorcycle rickshaw diver, grabbed fourth position in BA examination.
In BSc first three positions were clinched by female students of two different private colleges of Multan while a male student of Govt College, Alipur got fourth position.
In Bachelor of Science (BSc), Hira Wajid (roll no 36767) whose father is a crockery seller obtained first position in the varsity by securing 727 marks. Anmol Munir (roll no 37092) bagged second position by securing 718 marks while Nalain Sukina (roll no 36796) obtained third position by getting 706 marks. Addressing the result declaration ceremony at IMS Hallo, Acting Vice Chancellor Bahauddin Zakariya University Dr Bashir Chaudhary congratulated the position holders, their parents and teachers on this great success.
He highlighted the efforts of Controller Examination team for compiling the results and said that the varsity has declared the result earlier as compared last year schedule. He distributed cash prizes among the top three position holder of Science and Arts groups.—APP
