Buzdar pays glowing tributes to martyrs, Ghazis on Defence Day

Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that whole nation is celebrating the defense and martyrs day with full passion in the new Pakistan.
In his message, the chief minister said that nation pays rich tributes to its martyrs who have rendered their lives for the protection of beloved motherland. We also salute to the bravery of living legends of armed forces of Pakistan, he added.
The armed forces rendered unique examples of courage and bravery during the 65 war and the world history is unable to present such examples of great bravery. These examples of courage and valor will be remembered till lately as the whole nation and the armed forces proved a solid rock before the wicked enemy.
Pak army gave a befitting reply to the enemy and its officers and jawans failed their nefarious designs. He said this passion of attachment with the duty still flows in the armed forces and the nation has faced different challenges with steadfastness. The whole nation is fully united to counter any threat to national security and stability, he added. Due to the professional resoluteness and the strong zeal of the people, the flowers of liberty are glowing in the country.
Today, nation pays tributes to the martyrs and living legends that have had written stories of bravery and courage for the defense of the country, he added. He said that September 6 is a day to pay tributes to martyrs’ sacrifices and to reiterate the commitment of loyalty towards the country.
The Pakistan defense day reminds us about the immortal passion, courage and commitment and we should reiterate this commitment that no stone will be left unturned for the defense of the country, concluded the chief minister.
Air officer commanding, central air command of Pakistan Air Force Air Vice Marshal Irfan Ahmad called on punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar here on Wednesday.
Matters of mutual interest and professional activities of PAF came under discussion. The chief minister paid tributes to the PAF for best protection of air frontiers and its competence in professional matters.
The defence day and PAF day are celebrated to pay tributes to brave sons of the nation, he said. PAF is ranked amongst the best air forces of the world and it has written a history of valor and bravery for the protection of air boundaries of the country.
While paying tributes to the bravery of PAF fighters, the chief minister added that nation is proud of their courage. The PAF has rendered invaluable sacrifices for the establishment of peace and written a new history in war against terrorism.
The chief minister also appreciated the role of PAF with regard to disaster management and added that it has performed a national obligation by performing rescue operations during natural calamities along with playing a wonderful role in air defense of the country.
The PAF has also worked for social development sector, concluded the chief minister.
