Bus plunges into ravine; 9 die, 25 hurt

At least two women among nine commuters died and 25 others including children and women sustained injuries as passenger coach plunged into gorge near Luck-pass area of Mastung district on Friday. According to Levies force, a Quetta- bound passenger coach carrying commuters from Karachi was on its way as it plunged into ravine when its drive did not control it due to over speeding. As a result, two women among nine people died while 25 others including four women and children received wounds.
The injured namely Hussain, Anaytullah, Muhammad Arslan, Muyad Ahmed, Asghar Khan, Amir Ahmed, Malik Bakht, Muhammad Siddiq, Khalid Hussain, Noor Muhammad, Niaz Ahmed, Haider Ali, Nadeem, Ubaid, Naeem, Samiullah, Muhammad Umar, Alam Shah, Abdul Quddus, Wazir Muhammad, Abdullah and women Zaitoon Bibi, Shah Bibi, Ruqia Bibi and Halima.—APP
