BSF troops building bunkers around schools

Srinagar—In occupied Kashmir, days after BSF occupied several school buildings in Srinagar and its adjoining areas, the Indian forces’ personnel have constructed concrete bunkers of sand bags, tin sheets and with barbed wire giving an impression that they will stay for a long time there.
The BSF occupied SP Higher Secondary School, two schools in Nishat, girls high school, Kral Khud, Kothibagh Higher Secondary School, both girls and boys, school build at Pantha Chowk, Mahraj Gunj, Safa Kadal and one school building in Karan Nagar some days back.
Apart from these schools, the BSF also occupied school building at Lal Bazaar, school building at Rainawari, girls higher secondary school, Rajbagh, one school building in police public school, Bemina, one school building at Chanapora and one building at Nowgam.
In all these educational institutions, the BSF personnel remain busy in constructing bankers with sand and erecting tin sheets and spreading barbed wire around the schools. The concrete bunkers constructed by the paramilitary BSF are giving an impression that they will remain stationed there for a longer haul.
The dozens of trucks loaded with supplies for BSF were also seen lined in the school building premises. The BSF personnel were seen maintaining proper water supply and electricity around the school buildings. The BSF soldiers stationed at the main gates of these schools could be seen seeking identity proofs before allowing anybody to enter the school premises.—KMS
