Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations Shaukat Yousafzai Wednesday said the work on mega Bus Rapid Project (BRT) has almost completed and would be inaugurated on test basis on March 23. Addressing a press conference here, Shaukat Yousafzai said BRT was the flagship project of PTI government that would bring revolution in transport sector in the province. He said BRT would provide state-of the art communication and travelling facilities to hundreds of thousands of people of Peshawar and adjoining districts including Charsadda, Nowshera, Kohat, Mardan, Swabi, Khyber and Mohmand on daily basis. BRT would enhance beauty of the city. Due to mega uplift projects and record development works by PTI government during last five years, he said, the people of province has again reposed full confidence in policies of PTI by giving two third majority to it in the province in 2018 general election. The total cost of BRT was Rs 66.6 billion including Rs 29 billion for 27 kilometers long road, Rs10.5 billion.
