Book launching at COMSATS today

Islamabad—Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in South (COMSATS) is organizing a launching ceremony of Urdu translation of the book “One Hundred Reasons to be a Scientist” today (Thursday) at the National Language Promotion Department (NLPD) Islamabad.
Adviser to the Prime Minister Irfan Siddiqui will be the chief guest at the event that will start at 10:00am in the morning.
Director General NLPD will given his opening remarks while Executive Director COMSATS Dr. I.E. Qureshi, who is also the Editor-in-Chief of the book translation project, will give a brief introduction of the book.
The chief guest will give his keynote address on the occasion, while other speakers will include Syeda Nasreen Sultana, Advisor COMSATS Institute of Information Technology; Dr. Ashraf Atta, Advisor (Physics) CIIT; Dr. Mumtaz F. Jafri, Advisor FDA CIIT; and Prof. Fateh Muhammad Malik, Urdu columnist, literary critic and scholar. Questions and comments session will also be at the end of the programme.
