Lahore—Active participation of District Board of Management (BoM) is necessary for the promotion of technical education and vocational training system across the province of the Punjab. Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) has restructured representation of local business community in various District Board of Management (BoM) including Faisalabad, Bhakkar/Mianwali, Jhang/T.T.Singh/Chiniot, Sahiwal/Pakpattan, Bahawalpurt/Lodhran, Lahore/Shahdara, Rawalpindi/Attock, D.G. Khan/Rajanpur, Sargodha/Khushab, Sialkot/Narowal, Layyah/Muzaffargarh, Jhelum/Chakwal, Gujranwala/Hafizabad, Gujrat/Mandi Baha-ud-Din.
It was stated by Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh while addressing the officers Operations Department to review the progress of District Board of Management here yesterday at TEVTA Secretariat. Chief Operating Officer TEVTA Jawad Ahmed Qureshi, Amir Aziz, Mustafa Kamal Pasha and other officers attended the meeting.
Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that new demand driven short courses have been introduced with the consultation of BoM.
