Kharan—A commander of the outlawed Baloch Liberation Army laid down arms in Kharan on Sunday.
The Baloch Liberation Army commander identified as Ahmed Nawaz surrendered during a ceremony held at Frontier Corps headquarters in Kharan.
He pledged allegiance to the country and hoisted the national flag.
Nawaz also recited the Pakistani national anthem during the ceremony.
A Frontier Constabulary spokesperson said that the ex-Baloch Liberation Army commander used to recruit people in the outlawed organization and used to train the terrorists.
He also used to run BLA campuses in the province, FC spokesperson said.
