Balochistan win opening match of Pakistan Cricket Cup

Faisalabad—Balochistan won the opening match of the Pakistan Cricket Cup 2016 by defeating Punjab Eleven with 12 runs here on late Tuesday night.
Winning the toss, the Punjab Eleven invited Balochistan to bat which scored 215 runs in 46.2 overs while Shahid Yousuf made 49 runs, Umar Akmal 47 and opener Babar Azam scored 41 runs.
Ehsan Adil, Amir Yameen, Zulfiqar Baig, Ammad Butt and Shoaib Malik from Punjab got two wickets each.
Punjab made 203 runs in 49 overs Muhammad Rizwan scored 39 runs, Asad Shafiq and Ammad Butt 33 runs each.
Umar Gull and Azhar Ali of Balochistan got three wickets each whereas Azhar Ali was declared man of the match.—APP
