Bahria University holds 1st dental and 4th medical convocation

The First Convocation of Dental and 4th Medical Convocation of Bahria University Medical & Dental College, Karachi was held to commemorate the academic accomplishments of its medical and dental students. The students were also honored with Gold and Silver Medals and Certificates for their outstanding achievements in their academic career at the convocation.
Governor Sindh, Mr. Muhammad Zubair graced the occasion as chief guest and conferred degrees upon the graduating doctors.
In total 121 students were awarded degrees. To acknowledge the outstanding performance of students, Governor Sindh, Mr. Muhammad Zubair awarded Gold Medal to MBBS Students Ms. Hareem Alam and Silver Medal to Ms. Uzma Khan. The students who achieved distinction in their respective subjects were Rabiya Nadeem, Rizmi Tahir, Ema Khan, Aliza Yaqub, M. Azam, Umaima, M. Sufyan, Hunza Jawed, Sadia Javed, Uzma Khan, Sohail Moosa, Hareem Alam and Murk. Chief Guest awarded Gold Medal to Dental Student Ms. Affaf Fatima and Silver Medal to Ms. Safia Anwar. The students who achieved distinction in their respective subjects were Saira Hamid, Affaf Fatima, Hafza Misbah, Safia Anwar and Anum Hira.
While Congratulating and extending felicitations to the graduates on their commitment, hard work and success in achieving this milestone, the Governor Sindh, Mr. Muhammad Zubair said that I am glad that Bahria University Medical and Dental College has already reached a prestigious level of maturity with special focus on grooming and capacity building of the faculty as well as students. Governor advised the graduates to be men and women of sterling character, have a positive attitude towards service of humanity, with compassion for people irrespective of their religion, social standing and ethnicity.
