Bahria Town goes digital with Mobilink

Islamabad—Pakistan’s largest private real estate developer Bahria Town and Mobilink, signed a partnership agreement with whereby Mobilink’s Digital Mobile Financial Services Platform will be launched for Bahria Town residents making it the largest private sector enterprise to transform and lead in deployment of its first digital economy module. Bahria Town is the single largest real estate development and residential enterprise in Pakistan, it provides the complete infrastructure with reliable utilities and maintenance, schools, colleges, hospitals, shopping malls, entertainment areas and round-the-clock security.
Bahria Town’s decision to form the partnership was based on its ultimate goals of digital transformation under the banner of Bahria ICT based Smart City initiative, and its choice of Mobilink’s robust, secure and advanced ICT, 3G/4G platform was based on its extensive digital coverage all over Pakistan. Bahria Town will use Mobilink’s Digital platform for financially interconnecting its residents and customers it has already developed.
These services include Business-to-Business (B2B), Business-to-Clients (B2C) and Business-to-Public (B2P) services. Initially these services will include all kinds of Utilities & Maintenance Payments, Salaries payments and payments to other service providers and contractors. On the occasion of signing Malik Riaz, Chairman Bahria said, “We will be using the Digital Financial Services platform from Mobilink to start the outbound and inbound transactions.
