Bahrain seeks closer ties with Pakistan: Javed

Javed Malik, Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Shaikh Khalid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa at the Prime Minister’s Al Ghudibiya Palace. Ambassador Javed Malik highlighted the various efforts to expand the business, trade and commercial ties between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain and briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on the recently held Pakistan Bahrain Business Opportunities Conference in Islamabad in which 100 delegates from Bahrain and other Gulf countries traveled to Pakistan led by the Minister of Commerce & Industry Zayed R. AlZayani and the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khalid Al Moayyed.
While appreciating the efforts of the Ambassador Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa paid tribute to the historic and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Bahrain and said that Bahrain greatly values it close bilateral ties Pakistan and is keen to upgrade, expand and increase our cooperation in every field. He assured the Ambassador of his support in all his initiatives to bring both countries and their people together and expressed his appreciation to the Pakistani community living in Bahrain who are contributing towards the progress and development of the Kingdom. Speaking to the media after his meeting Ambassador Javed Malik said that Pakistan believes in maintaining and expanding its tries with Bahrain and all GCC countries under the guidance of the leadership of both countries.—Email
