Badin district council in quest of funds

Badin—According to the reports, first session of district council Badin has held under the chair of Ali Asghar Halepoto, Chairman, district council Badin.
Through the session, members of district councils passed resolution for 500 million as special grants from Sindh Govt for district council Badin. While chairing the session, Mr. Halepoto told that house that district council has resource of 6.7 million and expenses 8.1 million per months and it is facing 1.5 million deficit budget.
The members of the district council Badin have affirmed deficit budget of district council and demanded for the royalty of oil and gas, property tax and other taxes payment in the favor of district council Badin. The house approved the repairing work of deteriorating vehicles of district council. The house recommended action against ghost employees and inquiry against illegal recruitment of the council.
The occupation of the plots of the councils have been discussed in the house and recommended for collection of data of council’s plots throughout the district.
The session decided the returns back of the alien employees to their home districts and surplus staff of council send to taluka councils, town committees and union council’s offices according to requirement.
