Babar, Ghanchi’s tons enable Navy to gain lead in Patrons Trophy

Karachi—First class cricketers duo of Babar Agha and Hamza Ghanchi contrasting slammed centuries to enable Pakistan Navy to secure handy 64 runs first innings lead over Pakistan Television (PTV) in their second round match of Patrons Cricket Trophy Grade-II tie on Tuesday.
Babar was in a belligerent mood, striking 179 in 157 balls in 124 minutes studded 23 boundaries and two sixes. Opener Ghanchi slammed 15 boundaries in his 111 in 149 balls as Navy piled 472 runs for the loss of six wickets in the limited 83 overs of first innings on the second day of their 3-day tie here at the RLCA Academy Ground Gulburg.—APP
