In occupied Kashmir, the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, strongly condemning the detention of Hurriyet leaders and restrictions on a condolence meeting in Badgam, yesterday, has said that the puppet authorities have choked space for peaceful political activities.
The resistance leaders in a joint statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian forces were carrying out genocide in occupied Kashmir and people were not being allowed to mourn the killing of their dear ones.
They paid rich tributes to the civilians who were martyred by Indian forces during anti-India demonstrations in Badgam and Ganderbal on the occasion of so-called polling on 9th April.
They said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs.
