Australian envoy calls on Governor Sindh


The High Commissioner of Australia in Pakistan, Margarate Adamson, called on Governor Sindh, Muhammad Zubair.
At the meeting held at the Governor House here on Thursday a host of issues came up for discussion.
These included bilateral affairs, mutual trade, investment opportunities, Pakistan’s role in the war against terror.
Zubair said that after improvement in the law and order in the metropolis, the situation is very conducive for investment. The Australian investors should also take advantage of this.
He further stated that enhancement in Pakistan-Australia economic collaboration is the need of the hour.
Governor said that Pakistan has rendered immense sacrifices in the fight against terror and that this should be acknowledged at international level.
With improvement in law and order, the travel advisory for Pakistan should also be reviewed, he added. Zubair said that during the tenure of the present government, there has been development in every segment of the economy.
He was of the view that Australia can play an important role in restoration of international cricket in Pakistan. The Australian envoy said that no international company can ignore a big market like Pakistan.
She said every step would be taken to enhance economic collaboration between Australia and Pakistan.—APP
