Observer Report

Brisbane

Wicketkeeper batsman Mathew Wade scored his maiden century in the 50-over format as Australia beat Pakistan by 92 runs in the first ODI of the five-match series at The Gabba in Brisbane on Friday.
Wade finished not out on 100 off 100 balls, whereas Maxwell scored 60 off 56 balls.
Chasing 269 to win, visitors started well but once opener Sharjeel Khan got out in the 9th over, the team never managed to recover and kept losing wickets at the regular interval, and was eventually bowled out in the 43rd over at the score 176.
