Attempt to Kidnap Woman in Ambulance Thwarted

Police thwarted an alleged bid to kidnap a woman in an ambulance in Orangi town area of the city.
Police said that it thwarted an attempt to kidnap a woman in Orangi Town in an ambulance. Police arrested four alleged kidnappers and seized the ambulance.
The ambulance was of Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation, a charity wing of MQM-Pakistan. The accused were identified as Zamir, Faraz, Mehmood Alam and Ibrahim. Police said that the accused were taking away a woman in the ambulance. Upon being informed, police intercepted the ambulance and recovered the woman.
Area people said that four people barged into a house and took away the woman. On the other hand, brother of the woman refused to comment.
FIR of the incident was registered in Pakistan Bazaar Police Station on the complaint of the woman brother-in-law.—INP
