ATF appoints Saifullah as Chairman

Islamabad—Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) on Sunday appointed Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) President Salim Saifullah Khan as its Chairman of Development Advisors Group.
This decision was announced by the ATF President Anil Khanna, said a PTF spokesperson.
The members who will be assisting Salim Saifullah in the Group include Won Hong Joo (Korea), GoenawanTedjo (Indonesia), Igor Shepelev (Uzbekistan), Bharat Oza (India), Hsiao Lai Lo (Chinese Taipei), Zuraimi Abdul Sani (Brunei) and Chris Lai (Hong Kong). Khanna underscored the importance of Pakistan as an integral member of the ATF and expressed hope and confidence in the contribution of Salim Saifullah towards the development of tennis in Asia.
ATF is a non-profit organization affiliated with the International Tennis Federation (ITF) that is open to all national tennis associations in Asia. The ATF objectives include increase participation in, facilitate development of and raise the standard of Asian tennis.
There are currently 44 member associations dedicated to the promotion of tennis in their respective countries. The ATF works closely with the ITF and supports its member associations through the implementation of a wide range of programs.—APP
